Scunthorpe United and the other 71 teams in the Football League are sending at least one representative on a 150-mile bike ride from London to Amsterdam.
Representatives from all 72 Football League clubs can join former England striker Luther Blissett as they bike the 150-mile challenge to the Amsterdam Arena.
Everyone involved will depart Leyton Orient’s Matchroom Stadium early on Friday, June 6 as the look to complete the 90 miles to Harwich by dusk.
Orient’s iconic Brisbane Road will not be the only English stadium the riders will stop off at – refreshments will also be laid on at the Weston Homes Community Stadium, the home of Colchester United.
Once arriving in Harwich the group will get an overnight ferry across the Channel before they complete the final 60 miles across the flat landscape of the Dutch Zeeland.
The former Watford and AC Milan striker, Blissett, is urging everyone to get involved an support a fantastic cause.
He told the Football League: “Get your World Cup fever on and ride to Amsterdam with me and a bunch of fantastic people from across The Football League.
"If last year was anything to go by, we're going to have a great time on the way and when we get there. Sign up, challenge yourself and raise money to support the 250,000 men living with prostate cancer in the UK."
