Story

Help me combine three of my favourite things: Money, cycling and Yorkshire.

I cycled up to Bulkington from Earlsdon the other day. I wheelied the whole way in fifth gear, it was well easy. With mad skills like these I could bring the country to it's knees with dark bicycling capers, but due to my lack of will to embellish this opening statement any more, I decided to use my powers for good and raise some money for charity - www.givingsight.org. On the 24th of August, I intend to cycle the first stage of this years tour de France, which is in Yorkshire, obviously. It starts in Leeds, loops around the hills for a bit then ends up in Harrogate. The whole thing is 118ish miles and will take me about 10 hours of pedalling.

I'm not sure how much I can raise because I've never done anything quite so stupid before but if you can spare a few quid it would be much appreciated, and the more we raise, the fewer excuses I have not to go through with it.

Some fun facts: I'm a bit fat, I like pies and bovril, I own a bike.

Thanks for reading!
