Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am running the Brighton Marathon to raise funds and awareness for The Stroke Association.
My father was in his mid thirties when he died from a stroke in 1987. His death was devastating to our family, leaving behind my mother with three young children to support.
My father-in-law suffered from a stroke seven years ago. He survived the initial stroke, but the affects are still being felt today both physically and mentally.
In both circumstances, the pain and hurt was felt far and wide and my aim is to do what I can to try and help the good work being done by The Stroke Association.
I will do the hard part by running this marathon, all I ask is that you do the easy part and make a donation.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
