Story

Hi Guys,

I am doing the "Big Route" London -Paris cycle in September in aid of Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research.

My Father in Law, Richard Rouse, passed away in September 2010 to Lymphoma, which is a form of blood cancer, it was an awful way to watch a truly great man gradually and helplessly become a shadow of his former self and then pass away. My wife Becky, and her Mum, Prue and Becky’s brother Anthony as you can imagine are still totally devastated by the loss of their Dad & Husband. Richard was an “old school gent” and deserved so much better. For this reason I have decided to take part in the Big Route – London to Paris cycle in September with my fellow “Ballymena Big Routers”.

Around 30,000 people of all ages, from children and teenagers to adults are diagnosed with a blood cancer in the UK every year. Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research are determined to give every one of them the best possible chance of survival.

Please help with as little or as much as you can.

Thanks.

Scott
