Story
I've been caught staring in the hairdo headlights of my fast approaching 'big' birthday for far too long. So, as October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I've decided that for all those currently undergoing treatment, those who are well again, and everyone whose life has been touched, now's the time to just go for it! And hopefully someone else might also be able to benefit a little bit too... The jury is still out as to whether my shorn (as in cut very short!) locks will be long enough for wig-making but either way if I can also raise some sponsorship I'll be able to pay back a little of what I owe to the Marsden, with your help. Thank-you. ~ Update ~ Well the deed is now DONE! A big 'thank you' to Debbie & John at John Coronado's Hair (wouldn't have my hair in anyone else's care!) - and to everyone supporting the cause - can't BELIEVE how well we've done - so, THANK YOU all :-)
And I've bagged up the 'off-cuts' & will post a further update re: the sale in due course.... ~STOP PRESS~ I got £30 for my hair which I've added to the total ~
Thanks too for 'off-line' contributions from Bronwyn Ashby, Julie Benstead, Lynne Bowden, Jean & John Bridle, Rachel Campagna, Debbie & John Coronado, the Staffroom @ Cumnor House School, Brian Gale, Caroline Grant, Eileen Porter, Alison Thompson, Teresa Walsh, Mike Z, Claire Skinner, Mo & Andy M-J, Jackie & Peter Myers.
