Fundraising for Down Syndrome Cheshire
This time 12 months ago we were looking forward to challenging ourselves with running the London Marathon whilst supporting Down Syndrome Cheshire.
Sadly, Sarah was scuppered by a torn tendon in her knee and the plans were changed.
But after a long period of recovery, Sarah is back and as committed as last time. And this time, she's making the start line come hell or high water!
So in late April this year, we're heading to London for the race and we know we would find some extra motivation if anyone can help to support Down Syndrome Cheshire along the way too.
Our son Aidan is an inspiration to us, and to other families with children growing into adults with Down Syndrome, and the work that Down Syndrome Cheshire does really makes an enormous difference to the families, schools and young people themselves.
For Sarah this will be her first time running a road marathon and Matt's looking forward to introducing Sarah to the 26.2 miles of the course in London. We're so excited about the prospect, and apprehensive too!
But knowing that people have supported our favourite charity will help us to dig deep for all 26.2 miles in April, as well as through the countless miles of training that we'll be putting in to get us ready!
Thank you so much for even thinking about sponsoring us!!
