Story
In his youth, my father Michael Anderson was a keen Cross Country Runner, winning many medals in county competitions. He lost his fight against Bowel Cancer on June 26th 2007. We thought that there would be no better way for us to pay tribute to him, than for me to start running with the aim of completing the 2013 Great North Run. So I started running in September 2012, and have been on an amazing journey getting fit to get me ready for the big day. Philip has been my mentor and supporter throughout this journey, and We will be running together on the 15th September. It's his second Great North Run, he ran it last time with James our son, so my hope is that I don't hold him back!
