Story

This page has been set as one of 2 charities that will continue the Legacy of Justin Waylen.

The Williams Syndrome Foundation held a special place in Justin’s heart. In 2002-2005, Justin worked with a charity in New Zealand that helped adults with additional needs into the workplace, it helped them to thrive and gain invaluable experience and a huge sense of accomplishment. During this time, Justin worked with 3 clients with William’s Syndrome and he often talked about them with a great sense of admiration for how they adapted to the new working environment and he loved being able to support them.

In 2021, we were fortunate to gain some new and very wonderful friends into our lives. As we got to know each other better, we found out that their son has William’s Syndrome and it was a great surprise to our friends that Justin knew so much about this rare condition through his prior experience.

The William’s Foundation does a great deal of work to support those families impacted by the syndrome and it was Justin’s wish to support their work as part of his legacy.

Please do give anything that you can in support of the Charity so that they can continue supporting people like our good friends.

Thank you

Sarah, Claudia and Elizabeth, in loving memory of our wonderful Kiwi
