Story
As some of you may know, in October last year, my best friend’s mum, Meryl Browne, passed away from cancer. Macmillan Cancer Support in Hampshire helped Meryl and her family during this difficult time and we would like to raise money to thank them for this. I am therefore joining Kate, Oli, Alex, Josh, Carolyn, Mark and 200 other seriously crazy people in a 385 mile bike ride from Paris to Hayling Island in July 2010.
From my training so far I’m struggling to understand why Meryl enjoyed cycling so much but nevertheless we are still taking part in a 5 day tour around France to raise money for a great cause. Unfortunately cancer affects so many people and Macmillan Cancer Support helps to improve the lives of people affected by cancer, by providing practical, medical and financial support and push for better cancer care. Please take the time to visit my justgiving page and donate whatever you can to help reach my target of £1000. Even if it’s small, you’ll still be helping to make a difference. If you know of anyone else who would like to make a donation, please forward this on. Thank you xxxx
