Having always said I'm not interested in doing a half marathon ( probably because I didn't think I could do it), this year I am finally going for it and for a very good reason. Last year we lost a lovely, intelligent, thoughtful student with a bright future ahead of her in a tragic car accident.  This year 40 students and staff at Ponteland High School are running together to raise £10,000 for the fantastic Great North Air Ambulance, who every day deal with such tragedies and without them, many more lives would be lost. I feel proud to be running together for such a good cause and may even get a bit fitter in the process ! Please sponsor me, thank you.
