Thanks for visiting our page. We’re raising money for the British Heart Foundation and we’d be so grateful for your support. The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help us hit our target.

My dear father-in-law Jim Streeter passed away nearly five years ago, after many months of suffering from heart failure. We are doing this triathlon on what would have been his 89th birthday. Several of our very close friends and family have had diagnoses of various forms of heart disease given to them over the past few months and years, and they have all had excellent treatment, be it in the UK or here in Spain. 

With this in mind, we have decided to fund raise both for the British Heart Foundation and a local cardiology department in Almeria, to enable the teams of doctors and nurses to carry out their lifesaving work, to support other friends and family with loved ones who have heart disease.
