Story
As many of you know, we recently lost the much loved Matthew Tanner. My cycling challenge in July will be in memory of this beautiful man. He had a penchant for the absurd, and I think we can all agree that doing a timed 100 mile bike ride every weekend for 4 weeks when I have only been cycling for 17 months is pretty absurd. As such, I will be raising money for Phoenix Futures, who are the umbrella charity for the Griffith Edwards Fund. This is the fund that benefited Matt, allowing him to turn a corner with his addictions. I want to say thank you to them for their work in helping him to find a better path, even for a short time.
Please give if you can to support me in my cycling insanity, and to help other people with complex needs find a safe and stable environment to begin to repair their lives. You can find out a little more about the work they do here: http://www.phoenix-futures.org.uk/griffith-edwards-fund
