Catch22 has more than 200 years experience providing services that help people turn their lives around. We help troubled young people, families and offenders to steer clear of crime or substance misuse, do the best they can in education or employment, and play a full part in their community.

Story

As an employee and advocate for Catch22, I'm thrilled to have our sole place for London Marathon 2014!

Results are very important for Catch22 (and me); our goal is to deliver social benefit by turning chaotic lives around. For this reason, my marathon will be results driven by a payment-by-results fundraising model.

The result I'm looking for is to run 3hr 50min.  I'm asking you to pledge £'s for every minute I run under 4 hours. For example, our CEO has pledged £10 for every minute I run under 4 hours, so I'm hoping (if all goes well) he'll be giving around £100.

You can only imagine how motivating this support will be in those final 5 miles - when everything hurts and the guy in the SpongeBob Squarepants costume is running past me.

Let me know if you're making a per minute pledge (so far I have a total of about £30 per minute on the line).  After the race, I will let you know the final amount based on my official time and your pledge (as long as I go sub-4!)

Alternatively, feel free to donate as usual, whatever you can is appreciated and applauded.

Basic stats for you to make your pledge decision:

Previous marathons: 2009 Rotorua Marathon - 3:56:04

Previous half marathons: 5, most recent 23 Feb 2014 - 01:43:15

2014 goal: 3:50
