On 16/11/18 our friends Rouge and Tariq lost their beautiful daughter Ariana from dilated cardiomyopathy. The emotional impact of a sudden, seemingly inexplicable death of a child is beyond explanation and CRY have been extremely helpful in the emotional and clinical support they have provided.

Every week in the UK at least 12 apparently fit and healthy young people die of undiagnosed cardiac conditions. With your donation, CRY can reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death (YSCD) by working with cardiologists and family doctors to establish good practice and appropriate screening facilities to promote and protect the cardiac health of our young. February - Swindon Slog (10 mile canicross trail race) - sadly cancelled due to Storm Dennis so now doing the TRIBE x Maverick Run Free 2020 Hollycombe 13km trail race

March - London Landmarks Half Marathon - cancelled but completed the local landmarks challenge instead

April - Brecon Cani Trail 2020 (3 day canicross event, 9km, 14km, 6.2km night run and a 21km run) - cancelled

May - Maverick Adidas Terrex Original Surrey (13km canicross trail race) - cancelled

June - Wimbledon Half marathon - cancelled but completed a 53km ultramarathon along the South Downs Way

July - Kent half marathon -cancelled but completed K9 Team 50 mile challenge with the West Sussex Canicross Plodders

August - Maverick Chamonix Endeavour 100km Virtual Challenge 2020

September - Pulborough Vineyards Half Marathon

October - TRIBE x Maverick Rub Free 11km trail race and Maverick Adidas Terrex Original Surrey (22km canicross trail race) 

November - South Downs Off Road Half marathon & The Maverick Adidas Terrex Original Hampshire (13km canicross trail race) both cancelled so ran our own South Downs half marathon and virtual Maverick Kendal Race

December - Freedom Racing - Hurtwood 50km ultramarathon - cancelled so ran out own South Downs Ultra!
