Myself and my good friend Sarah Beyssat are doing the Walk Ten sponsored 10k walk for Marie Curie at Stormont Estate in Belfast on Friday 1st September. If you have been unfortunate enough to loose anyone to cancer you may know what a wonderful support Marie Curie nurses can be to patients and families. I am doing this walk in memory of my step- dad Jim Drainey, who died in 2004, to raise funds so that Marie Curie nurses may be able to provide the same support and comfort to other families that they provided to us.
