Story

Dear Family and Friends, Welcome to our fundraising page :-)

We are raising money for the wonderful organization, Little Angels Service Dogs International, a 501(c)3 non-profit and an accredited member of Assistance Dogs International. It costs Little Angels approximately $38,000 for each service dog to be ready to go to work helping someone. That cost includes breeding, medical bills, food, training, housing, everything that dog will need to hit the ground running when they are matched with a recipient. All funds raised will help people like Sarah receive their service dog and allow Little Angeles to continue their life changing work training and partnering even more dogs with people living with disabilities.

As some of you may know, Sarah has been approved by her neurologist and Little Angels to receive a Seizure Alert service dog that will be life changing for her.  A little history - Sarah’s seizures occur while she is in bed (sleeping). Over the last few years her seizures have developed an added risk - at the end of her seizure she gets to her feet.  During this state she is very unstable which puts her at a very high risk of falling and getting seriously hurt. A seizure alert service dog will alert (press a button or bark) that she’s having a
seizure and gently apply therapeutic pressure to her lower legs to keep her in her bed and safe. An added benefit will be the service dog will go to doctor appointments/procedures with her to help relieve anxiety (her blood pressure and heart rate go off the charts). A service dog will be a game changer for Sarah all the way around and we are all excitedly awaiting her new partner.

Now, after months of applications, interviews, and recommendations we are in the final stages of the process, the fundraising stage. A donation of any amount is very much appreciated, and truly no amount is too small … every single dollar is important. Our first threshold amount is $9,500.

We want to thank you for taking the time out of your day to read about our Sarah and Little Angels.  If you would like to donate, it’s fast and easy by simply clicking the link on this page. (service fees are taken out of donations made this way).

Another option to donate is by check or corporate match (100% of donations made this way go to Little Angeles Service Dogs Int'l).  If you choose to donate in this manner, IT'S VERY IMPORTANT TO NOTE IN THE MEMO - “CODE: AS-NO-SA”.  Donations can be mailed direct to Little Angels Service Dogs Int’l, PO Box 219, Jamul, CA
91935.

If you feel so inclined, please feel free to share her fundraising page with others.  We appreciate your help in spreading the word about this great organization and their life changing work.

Thanks again for visiting.

Most sincerely and with lots and lots of love and gratitude,

-Sarah's family
