 *UPDATE* On my return from Argentina and Mt Aconcagua I have updated the website with a few photos of the trip and would like to say a huge thank you for the the ongoing support I have received and your very generous donations. THANK YOU!!

Thank you for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page and supporting me on what will be my biggest challenge to date. Inspired by the likes of Sir Ranulph Fiennes and Edmund Hillary I have had a burning ambition to reach the top of the world.  Whilst it is not Mt Everest, I will be attempting to climb Aconcagua (6962 m), the highest mountain in South America. I will hopefully raise money in the process for the Alzheimer's Society, which is both personal to me and many of my friends and family and very worthwhile.

Your donations will help the Alzheimer’s Society to provide practical support, information and advice to sufferers and their families coping with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias as well as to raise awareness and understanding of dementia.
