Story
This fundraiser is in memory of a very close family friend Aidan Power. Aidan passed away Saturday 13th May after a short illness, Amyloidosis. Aidan was an avid sportsman and loved music and fishing. He was a gentle soul and always greeted everyone he met with a smile. Aidan will be sadly missed by his friends and family.
Amyloidosis is a rare genetic disease that occurs when the protein 'amyloid' builds up in organs. The build-up of this protein can affect organs such as heart, kidneys, liver, spleen, nervous system, digestive tract and interfere with their normal function.
Multiple Myeloma Ireland is the only charitable organisation in Ireland focused exclusively on supporting patients, families and carers with Multiple Myeloma and related conditions. Multiple Myeloma Ireland is also a member of Myeloma Patients Europe, the umbrella organisation of multiple myeloma and AL amyloidosis patient groups and associations from across Europe.
Fundraiser
I sat my Final Admittance Exams (FAEs) in August 2022 and was awarded the Incorporated Society Jubilee Prize in recognition of the 2nd highest results in Ireland.
I am providing my notes for any person sitting the FAEs this August 2023 in exchange for a minimum donation of €25 to Multiple Myeloma Ireland. FAE students can show proof of donation via LinkedIn message or alternatively email. I will then provide a link to my FAE notes.
