Story
My son was born with talipes and has spent the last 6 years undergoing treatment to correct his feet. He is due an operation soon since relapsing, and will spend time in a wheelchair as his legs recover. Although his treatment will eventually correct his feet, it has given me an insight into the difficulties of living with a disability and some of the barriers people face on a daily basis.
Livability is a UK charity committed to enabling disabled people to live the life they want to lead.
