Hi everyone, thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. 

As most of you will know by now I am going to run the Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon 2010 for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.  If you have never heard of this charity there's a wee blog telling you all about it. 

The charity was brought to my attention when my nephew Max was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes when he was aged two. He's the wee cutey smiling beside his big cousin Jay in photo.   When this happens to any child it has a huge impact on their life and that of their parents.  I would be so grateful if you would sponsor me for such an important cause - and please forward onto any friends you may think would be happy to do same.   I am not the youngster I used to be  - at my age I need a big incentive to run 26 miles.    - So come on, get your hands in your pockets and donate a few quid.
