Story

Please help us raise money for the wonderful Shooting Star Children’s Hospice in Teddington.

The Shooting Star provides superb facilities for children with life-limiting conditions and their families.

Lydia Poulson, daughter of Anna and Mark, and sister to Oscar and Esther, who suffered with the very rare ‘Aicardi Syndrome’ died at the Shooting Star earlier this year at the age of three. The whole family benefitted from the amazing facilities, care and support which Shooting Star was able to provide, which receives very limited government funding. Without the generous giving of so many people Shooting Star could not provide these much-needed services.

loved her time at Shooting Star, and her quality of life was greatly enhanced during the time she spent there. Anna and Mark are proud that some of their little girl’s art-work now adorns the walls of the hospice. also loved the fantastic pool and benefitted from a wide range of therapies

Anna-Maria with daughter Ellie, her friend Emily and Mum Sarah are participating in the Adidas 5k challenge on Sunday 5th September 2010. The girls plan to run, with the Mum’s walking the five kilometres as fast as they can!!

Please help the Shooting Star to continue this vital work by sponsoring us on the 5th September if you are able. Thank you very much!

Anna-Maria, Ellie, Emily and Sarah
