Story
Team Tom are raising money by completing the three highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales.
Tom Ashley is 17 years old and is currently undergoing chemotherapy awaiting a transplant to beat Leukaemia in Birminghams QE Hospital. In 2015 Team Tom cycled Coast to Coast to raise money for the Teenage Cancer trust when Tom was first diagnosed with AML. Tom has chosen Cure Leukaemia as the charity we will be fundraising for this challenge. Scarlet (10) Samuel (12) Sarah (Old) Lawrence (older still) will be climbing the three highest peaks over three weekends. The first peak to be completed is Snowdon, followed by Scafell Pike, finishing off with Big Ben Nevis.
Please give if you can to support people like Tom and his family and fight hard to find a Cure for Leukaemia.
Cure Leukaemia (CL) helps to save lives and hasten global progress towards eradicating blood cancer within the next 30 years. CL supports the internationally renowned Centre for Clinical Haematology in Birmingham and a network of specialist research nurses across the UK who administer often world first and potentially life-saving clinical trials to leukaemia patients who have exhausted standard treatments. In 2017, Cure Leukaemia is committed to raising an additional £1m to double the Centre's capacity for patients, world first trials & nurses.
