I’m embarking on a 2-week volunteer trip to Ghana this November! 🤓 🇬🇭 ⛑️ 

Ghana is a lush, cocoa-growing country in West Africa – but some regions lack sufficient healthcare.  A good friend and local ICU physician, Dr. Rebecca Kruisselbrink, leads a team to rural Ghana once a year to offer medical assistance.  I’ll be joining this autumn and bringing operational support.

Our small team will be doing a variety of jobs including treating common ailments such as malaria and schistosomiasis (both diseases caused by parasites), supplying and dispensing urgently needed medication, and offering informal public health talks to the local community.  I’m very much looking forward to it all!

As part of my participation in the trip, I’m raising $5500, which will go toward the clinic’s infrastructure, medication we’ll be bringing, and our team’s logistics.  I would be delighted and tremendously grateful if you would consider helping me by contributing. (You'll receive a charitable tax receipt too).
