We send medication & do midwifery training to make birth safer in Sub-Saharan Africa

Story

In February 2020, three midwives Sarah, Lauren and Kat are travelling to Sierra Leone to volunteer with Life For African Mothers, a charity who’s mission is to make giving birth safer for mothers in Sub-Saharan Africa. Life for African Mothers does this by providing life-saving medications and midwifery training.

303,000 women die every year from complications in child-birth which occur mainly in Sub-Saharan Africa. 99% of all these deaths are avoidable with the right medical care and resources.

Please donate and help to support Life for African Mothers and all the important work they do.
