Anybody who knows anything about me knows back in 2007 Christmas time my mum became ill with what we all thought was a cold. A few weeks later two weeks after I gave birth to my second child my mum passed away with a very agressive cancer. Diagnosed with only a few days to live it was a shocking way to lose a parent and an awful way for anyone to die with so much to live for at a very young age. Cancer is real. It's a killer. Not only does it affect those who have to live with the disease but also those around watching loved ones go through such awful suffering. Something that stays with you for a very long time.
