My sister Victoria and I lost our 'other mum' this week. Trish/Pat gave me my first (and only) perm, was first to ask 'should I buy a hat' if I had a new boyfriend and was a staple at our house for tea, cream cakes and gossip. She was my mum's best friend and lived for as long as I can remember in the house across the road.  We'll miss the door buzzer going.....
