My fundraiser is for a local cats charity.

I adopted my Jasper cat in 2019 from Huddersfield Feral and Strays which is a charity that helps provide care to cats in need. Jasper had been fostered for a while and when I went to visit him I was really taken with him. He was a real character - lovable and feisty in equal measures and had all this amazing fur! He loved his new cosy home, all his home comforts and even the occasional crisp which made me chuckle. Even the village store semi-adopted him giving him extra treats, fuss and tickles. 

Sadly he has recently died aged about 7 following a sudden illness and it has knocked me for six. He has been a lovely companion through the last few (tricky) years.

For my 50th in lieu of any gifts it would be lovely if people would instead consider making a small donation to HFS to help more vulnerable street cats get the veterinary care they need and support their care while being fostered before they find their furever homes.
