I’m finally biting the bullet and running the Great North Run on September 16. A whopping 13.1 miles to be precise!!! As most of you know, I only started running a few months ago so I’m getting more nervous as the big day approaches.

I’m very proud to be running for a local charity. The Children’s Foundation does amazing work for children in the North-East, funding research to help sure sick children and prevent them from become sick in the first place. When children do become poorly, The Children’s Foundation supports NHS projects to include the latest technology in the wards to help make a stay in hospital as comfortable as possible for children and their families.

Local charities need local support – so PLEASE PLEASE spare as much as you can afford to allow this charity to continue with the amazing work they do for children and their families in the North-East!
