Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Susie and I are going to try and run the Three Forts Challenge on May the 5th, for the Tuberous Sclerosis Association
TSC is a complex genetic condition caused by an alteration in a gene. People with TSC have growths, sometimes called tubers or lesions in different organs of the body (brain, heart, eyes, skin, kidneys, lungs) and may have epilepsy, learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorder and kidney problems. Symptoms vary from one person to another with some people showing very few symptoms and others more severely affected.
We have just done a 15 mile training run on the South downs way and found it very hard. This Friday (1st March) we will be doing 16 miles !!!!. Please donate to this great charity, if everyone just gives a couple of pounds it will help them so much, dig deep.
Training is almost at an end, we ran 23 miles on the 1st of April, from burgess Hill up the downs and along to lewes and back again, in the driving wind and snow !!!. last Friday we ran 19.5 miles along the south downs way to Alfriston in the driving wind and rain!! and Dave meet us there and drove us back to our car (very very kind). This week we are doing 15miles, what will the weather
Many thanks
Susie and Sarah
