So, many of you will know we lost Craig (my brother-in-law & friend of 19 years) to cancer in February 2013 (aged 39).

My husband Carl and the lads all did this challenge last year and left a plaque at the top of Ben Nevis in Craig's memory.  I feel honoured to be able to do the challenge myself this year and am looking forward to seeing the plaque myself (I'm warning you - there maybe tears team mates.....).

Watching Craig battle this horrendous disease was both devastating and inspirational and we miss him so very, very much every day.  

In Craig's last few weeks he protected everyone he loved and cared for and didn't moan about his illness at all and very much lived by this rule - "Pain is inevitable.  Suffering is optional", which inspires me every day!
