Story
The Rotherham Hospice is a wonderful place where the staff are hugely committed to increasing quality of lives, improving symptoms and supporting end of life. I refer lots of my patients to the hospice, to the day hospice which is massively popular, and for symptom management - I know my patients and their family members really benefit from the hospice, and working with the hospice is something I really appreciate and am grateful for. So, I am trying to raise as much money as possible to support this fantastic service in Rotherham - Help me if you can!!
After a fantastically successful Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge event in 2017 and 2018, the hospice are back once more for the third time for 2019! Climbing the famous three peaks, I will leave Horton-in-Ribblesdale at 6.30am to ascent Pen-y-Ghent with a sharp start to this challenge, then descending down to Ribblehead viaduct where I will start again to climb Whernside, the highest peak of the three. Finally, I will come to Ingleborough. And the challenge? To do all this in under 12 hours to be part of the Yorkshire 3 Peaks "club".
