Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Saturday 5th June, I abseiled from the very top of Guildford Cathedral (having climbed 249 steps to get there!) to raise money for Crossroads Care Surrey.

Crossroads Care Surrey is the leading provider of support for carers in the county.  They provide trained staff to take over the carer’s responsibility to give them some time to themselves.  Crossroads Care Surrey currently supports 1,500 carers in Surrey – me included, as I have a son with autism.  Crossroads Care Surrey has been a vital part of my life for over 12 years.

By sponsoring me to do this scary, crazy event, you can help Crossroads Care Surrey to help even more carers across Surrey.  Thank You!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to Surrey Crossroads and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please donate now.

Thank you :)

About the charity

Crossroads Care Surrey supports carers. A carer is someone who looks after a relative or friend with a significant health condition or disability, ranging from an older person with dementia to a child with Autism. We provide short respite breaks giving the carer some precious time to themselves.
