On Sunday 13th May, my mum, sister and I are taking part in a sponsored 10k walk in Shalford in order to raise money for SANDS and in memory of my daughter Megan. SANDS do amazing things to support those affected by the death of a baby and to promote research to reduce the loss of babies' lives. 6500 babies are stillborn or lost shortly after birth in the UK every year.

That's 17 every day.

My beautiful daughter Megan Rose was born asleep on 24th October 2009. She was perfect in every way and we miss her so much every day.  Not being able to watch her grow and become the amazing little girl she would have been is heartbreaking but we can try to raise money for this great charity to help fund research in the future.

In November 2010 Megan's little sister, Lucy Mai, was born fit and healthy and we are so very grateful for her and know that Megan is looking down as her guardian angel guiding her and keeping her safe.
