Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In July, I will volunteer for 10 weeks on a development programme in Rwanda. This is part of International Citizenship Service (ISC) which brings young people together to fight poverty and make a difference in the world. I will be working alongside a volunteer from the country in a community that has specifically requested help from ICS. The programme also aims to inspire young people in the UK and overseas to become active citizens who are passionate about long term community development.

I have chosen to take part in ICS because of the amazing work it has done, and because I believe that change comes through communities. I am excited to be involved in something which is helping to bring about change. You can get involved too, by helping me to raise £800 for Tearfund, a Christian charity which is one of the respected development charities that deliver ICS. This money will help them to continue making a positive difference in the developing communities where they work. You can check out what they do here: http://www.tearfund.org/
