In 2020 I started running with my little dog Twinkle (in the picture). Without his help I wouldn’t be able to run like I do today! Twinkle sadly crossed the rainbow bridge far far too soon from pancreatic cancer, but his memory lives on and I’m pretty sure he’s with me every time I run. 

When Twinkle got sick, he got veterinary care straight away and was surrounded by humans who loved him. But not all animals are that lucky. And that is where the Blue Cross steps in. Blue Cross are there for any animal that needs them, providing veterinary care, rehoming and even pet food banks, so in these difficult times people’s s pets can stay at home with the family they love so much, even with the cost of living rising. 

Blue Cross also support us, the humans, through education, advice and even support when those important furry loves cross the rainbow bridge. 

So that is why, now, in 2023, I’ve decided to take on the mammoth task of running the London Marathon and raising money for the Blue Cross. Twinkle will be with me in spirit every step of the way and the difference you can make to all the animals by supporting me in donating, however much you can afford, will make such a difference! Thank you thank you thank you
