Story

Women v Cancer

Back in October a good friend put a shout out that she was going to Ride the Night, 62 miles {100k) across London for Women V Cancer in May 19, did anyone want to join her?

It being 2019 I realised it will have been 10yrs since I had breast cancer & knowing that I was about to start treatment for skin cancer for the third time, I felt it quite apt to dust off my bike & get training to support Women v Cancer.

Now I dislike cycling; in a park for leisure, yes sure, but cars; vans, lorries, in the dark across our capital city, oh no. However I know I am capable, if I really push myself, so I’m doing it!

Boston Belles, all 15 of us, will set off from Boston Spa, in a mini bus, on Sat 25th May 19 to “Ride the Night’.

I would very much appreciate your support. It will help raise funds & awareness for:
Breast Cancer Care,
Ovarian Cancer Action,
Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust

You can support my fund raising through Just Giving or for those of you that know all of us & want to support us as a group, we have a communal Boston Belles traditional paper version which will be divided between the group as each rider needs to fund raise £199 by Friday 12th April.

Many thanks in advance fort taking the time to visit my JustGiving page & for all your support. Sara xx
