Story

Hi my name Sara...

At the age of 3 my daughter Isobel was diagnosed with a rare form of childhood cancer  Retinoblastoma (Rb). This resulted in Isobel having to have her right eye enumerated. You wouldn't think she has an artificial eye as its very good. She is the most happy little girl I know.

Rb is a rapidly developing cancer that develops from immature cells of the retina, the light detecting tissue of the eye and is the most common malignant tumour of eye in children.Chect is a charity which helps support and provide info to families like myself.

To help Chect to continue to help families with info and support, and also raising awareness at the same time, I've decided to overcome a fear of my own, I shall be doing a Tandem Skydive with Sarah too who is also scared of heights.... Never thought I would ever contemplate doing this. But I am and at the same time help raise funds for this charity so close to my heart. So if you can just donate £1 you are helping this cause. Thank you. The date of the Skydive is yet bbc but am looking to do it in 2015.
