We help parents of prem and sick babies to cope at a critical time in their lives

Story

Most people know the story by now. Wee Michael was due on the 27th of April but decided to make his own terms and arrive on the 16th of January instead. A 94 day stay in the NICU’s at Belfast Royal and Altnagelvin Hospitals, combined, which included 5 blood transfusion, laser eye surgery, countless antibiotics and so much more. Together we have decided that Michael’s Uncle Caolán’s hair has to go and due to lockdown there are no hair dressers or barbers currently open to allow him to get his hair tidied how he would like, so shaving it off is the next best option, obviously! We decided that due to the support given to us during our NICU stay by Tinylife and the support they continue to give after discharge from the unit they deserve everything we can raise for them. Aiming for a minimum of £500 to try and begin to thank them for their support and to help them continue to help other baby’s and families like ours.
