Story
On 13th December 2020, Jessie, Lucy, Matthew and Greg are taking on the 5k King’s Santa Dash to raise money for King's College Hospital Charity.
Individually we all need to raise £100 which makes our total target £400! Our aim is inspired by Jessie’s campaign “Make Hospitals More Fun” - https://www.supportkings.org.uk/jessies-story
In 2013 Jessie was born prematurely at Kings College Hospital with various complications. He was one of the most complexed cases Kings have ever seen but they managed to get him through all the major operations straight from birth to now
At the age of 3, Jessie was diagnosed with Chronic liver failure and in 2020 he finally received a life saving liver transplant at the age of 6.
Kings is our second home and we have spent the majority of Jessie’s life there.
Without the Doctors, Surgeons, Nurses, Cleaners, Psychologists, Play therapists, Care assistants and so many more, Jessie would not be here today. We have everything to thank Kings for.
Kings is one of the leading children’s hospitals in the country, especially for Liver and intestinal bowel conditions. But the children’s facilities are minimal compared to other hospitals. Jessie has always begged the Doctors and Nurses for a slide like the Evelina, so our aim is to raise money in order to improve the facilities at kings.
Please donate anything you can to this amazing hospital💛
