We did it! Left at 9:00 and home at 5.00. Raining when we left but dryed up on way. We stopped for a coffee break at a friends house in Seaforde on the way which was so appreciated. Then we only had about 10 miles to get to NICFC, and they gave us a drink and sandwiches when we got there.Lee suffered a bit from cramps on way home, so we stopped at another friends house for a break which was lovely, but otherwise evrythg went well including the weather. We did 63 miles. Thx again 4 all ur support.

Our son Caleb was diagnosed with cancer at the end of 2011, at the age of 7. As you can imagine, that was quite a shock, the last thing we would ever have expected. our family had big adjustments to make and Caleb had a lot of treatment to go through. Thankfully his treatment finished last summer and he is doing very well. It was a hard few months but with the help of the hospital and charities like NICFC we have gotten through it well as a family. NICFC have helped by giving attention to Calebs siblings, Kyria, Jared and especially Micah, his little brother with one to one support for him. They also would be at the hospital clinic with a craft table to make waiting to see the Doctor more enjoyable. We also enjoyed staying at the cottage they have in Ballymoney and the list goes on. Cycling has become something of a stress reliever for me during this time, hence why we decided to do a sponsored cycle. Please help us to raise money for them so that they can keep up their good work and help other families that are going through similar situations.
