Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Sandie and Nicola have decided that they love cycling so much, they are going to cycle from London to Amsterdam over 4 days in August.
The pair had known of each other in the past, but when Nicola's partner Kris Cook died in the Ride100, Sandie supported Nicola and helped her to get back onto the bike and running again. This of course helped Nicola to adapt to her new life and kept her in a safe and positive environment whilst she grieved.
The pair over the last two years have competed in a number of cycling events and runs, including the Ride100 2015 and 2016, Surrey Half Marathon, Great South Run and Bournemouth Half Marathon, whilst raising thousands of pounds for charities, along with their other team mates in TEAM KC.
They are now life long friends and felt that this wold be the next challenge to do together.
The girls have decided to support their local charity, which is very dear to the hearts, the Woking Hospice and help them raise money for the new build that is situated in Goldsworth Park (a place where Kris spent his childhood growing up with his friends on the lake).
The journey will be tough, covering 90 miles each day, for 4 days, taking on headwinds from the coast line, tacking weather conditions and attempting some great climbs.
Both Sandie and Nicola thank you for your continued support, thank you for reading and donating.
Sandie and Nicola
