Prostate Cancer UK has a simple ambition - to stop men dying from prostate cancer. Through shifting the science over the next 10 years to focus on radical improvements in diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and support, we will stop prostate cancer being a killer.

Story

Hello, and thank you for visiting.

For those of you who do not know me, I am a disabled, overweight thirty-someting who loves a challenge.

In March 2012 my Dad got diagnosed with terminal prostate cancer. He was given a prognosis of 5-7 years left to live. Early 2017 he started to show signs of illness, in October 2018, he had just finished his second course of radiotherapy, and sadly on 7th March this year he lost his hard fought battle and passed away.

I'm choosing to cycle 1000miles by the end of the year to raise money for the fight against this disease. It will include the single longest bike ride of my life, and will be more difficult for me than most people given my Cerebral Palsy and recent brain surgery. I still get massively painful spasms in my hands and arms because of it... not the sort of thing you want while cycling!!

But, who am I to say no to a challenge?...

So please give anything you can to support this great cause.
