Story

Hello, firstly I want to say thank you for visiting my page.

As most of you know that I'll be doing VSO project in partnership with Deafway based in Preston. I decide to apply for this when I first came across the website and it got me thinking, this is exactly what I want to do; not only is it voluntary work for a charitable organization, but it is also an exciting challenge.

I will live in Philippines for 3 months this summer 2013 where I will experience and enjoy a totally different culture. I will be volunteering along with other eight Deaf volunteers; involved in Philippines Deaf community. I will also perhaps live with Filipino Deaf resident/family.

I am glad to be taking part in such a fantastic challenge this summer, it will be an unique and wonderful experience. Most importantly it will help a lot of people who really need the help. For this to happen I will need your help in supporting and sponsoring me, in order to do this, I need to raise £800 for the VSO, it's for a good cause and I appreciate your support.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
