Hey everyone! 

I am Samantha and I am really happy that you are visiting my page! 

Running is my passion but, actually, I love doing any kind of sports. 

On October 2nd I will take part in the London Marathon - the first one I ever participated in! And I am really excited about it! 

The London Marathon is a special kind of marathon because it is not only about running, competing and achieving a personal goal. No, it is combined with fundraising! And I think that's the really great thing about it! 

I feel very honored to run for the Aspire team (www.aspire.org.uk). Aspire is a charity supporting people who have been paralysed by Spinal Cord Injury. A spinal cord injury can happen to anyone at any time, and no one is prepared for how it will change their life. Every Euro that I will be able to fundraise will support one of these guys who are fighting every day to have a fulfilled and independent life. And, in the end, to be able to do sports again - no matter if it might be in a different way than in the past (https://youtu.be/48SJOU6foW8). 

I really admire their will, strength and perseverance! That is why I am willing to bring them a step closer to their life goals!
