Story

Thank you very much for visiting my page.

I am cycling from Cambridge to Norwich (77 miles – Yikes!), for the wonderful charity ‘The Neuro Foundation’.

They help support, educate, advise and connect people affected by the condition Neurofibromatosis. Which is a rare genetic condition that affects the nervous system.

It causes debilitating and painful tumours to grow from the nervous tissue, which requires treatment such as surgery and/or radiotherapy.

I was diagnosed with a Neurofibroma tumour in my leg back in October 2012. Some of you may remember my cane!!!

After a tough year but successful surgery and treatment, I am now training hard to raise funds and awareness, to help support patients with this lifelong condition.

Thank you again, every little helps! Xxx
