Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

❤️ In August I will be taking part in the Prudential 100, cycling from London through the Surrey countryside and back into London on a 100 mile journey to raise money for Cardiac Risk in the Young. I have been training during the week and every weekend for the last 3 months which has not been easy, but I am up for this challenge!

I have never done anything like this before, it would be a huge achievement to cross the finish line with the team I will be riding with. Last year a close family friend, Nicola Tait, lost her beloved, Kris Cook during this race. They had trained hard together and were planning their life together when the unimaginable happened and Kris suffered a cardiac arrest and never recovered.

I want to help Nicola and the rest of Team Kris Cook cross that finish line in memory of him and the life they would've shared. Please sponsor me for Cardiac Risk in the Young to help people who suffer hidden heart conditions, to help their loved ones and family with new treatments and support ❤️

Each week at least twelve young people in the UK die suddenly as a result of undiagnosed heart conditions. At Cardiac Risk In the Young we aim to save young lives & to help those affected by the sudden cardiac death. We do this by providing support, information & screening those affected.
