I’ve decided to take part in fundraising for Alzheimer’s Society, this is a cause very close to my heart, I have seen the affects of Alzheimer’s in the people closest to me; my Granny, Shirley Thompson age 67 and my Nana, Doris Hall aged 90. It’s overwhelming to see the support from the Society and it’s great to know that every mile I run will help support people to live well with dementia today and fund research to find a cure for tomorrow. I have taken this opportunity to try and get more involved with the public and spread awareness of this society and what they do.
