Story

Hello everyone!

We are running the Total Mudder event in Winchester http://toughmudder.co.uk/events/south-eastmidlands/south-east-midlands-2012-course-map/ and we are hoping to raise lots of money for two great causes which are close to our hearts. They are St Wilfred's hospice in Chichester and Stroke Association. St Wilfred's hospice have cared for over 12,000 local people and provide a range of services to patients and families and all their services are provided free of charge. Stroke Association is another fantastic charity that provides high quality, up-to-date stroke information for stroke patients and families. They aim to improve stroke care and support people to make the best possible recovery.

This race is of particular significance to ourselves as we will be running this event in the memory of our Granddad Bernard Taylor and Gavin's father in law Jim Page who sadly passed away this year. Bernard Taylor sadly passed away this year after a long period of illness and St Wilfred's Hospice took great care of him which we will never forget. Jim Page sadly passed away this year after a sudden stroke; his death highlights just how sudden and devastating Stroke's can be. We are hoping that the money we can raise can help St Wilfred's Hospice to continue their great work and to help Stroke association to continue their campaign to improve stroke care and awareness.

The link below is to sponsor St Wilfred's Hospice Chichester as we have had to make to seperate pages.

Any Donation that you can make will be greatly appreciated. Your donations and the memories of Jim Page and Bernard Taylor will give us the motivation to attack this Tough Mudder event especially when morale is low. We will make them proud of us! And remember this is the hardest assault course in the UK with 25 obstacles so give generously :)
