Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I know I have so many friends that do great things for charity, running marathons, ironmen, tough mudder etc, but whilst participating in a charity football match is no great achievement (unless you have seen me play!) the cause is real, and any donations will be greatly appreciated.

The football match is on 19th May Folkestone Invicta Vets XI vs Razor Ruddocks XI (captained by Peter Shilton) at Folkestone, all support is welcome!!!

Pilgrims Hospices has been providing care and support free of charge to people with life-limiting illnesses, their families and carers for over two decades

Pilgrims has three hospices in Canterbury, Thanet and Ashford; achieving founder Ann Robertsons original aim of hospice care being available within 30 minutes drive of everyone in east Kent.

Pilgrims Hospice, Canterbury

Pilgrims Hospice, Canterbury is our founding hospice and was opened in June 1982 by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother. Refurbished in 2003, it has an in-patient unit of 16 beds and provision for approximately 20 day hospice patients per day, open 2 days a week. The hospice, which is situated on London Road off the Rheims Way, stands within its own beautiful grounds, set back from a large three storey building that houses administration, education facilities and a library.
