Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Congratulations to everyone who turned up on Sunday and completed "Cycle Round the Circle Line 2012" it was another great day and everyone got back safely, there was some adjustments required to the route due to the London Triathlon taking place on the Embankment but we managed to alter the route slightly at the start and at the end to accomodate this and we still completed 17miles.

Special mention must go to Maria Mitchell who ran the route behind the bikes and considering she had only ever run 12miles less than two weeks previous to the event, it was a wonderful acheivement that she can be very proud of, she has also managed to raise somewhere in the region of £2000 towards our total, also Scott Mundy who once again ran the route around the Circle Line.

Several children took part this year, amongst them my Daughter Rebecca and her friend Jasmine (12yrs old)and considering it was Jasmines first time she done very well to complete the course on what can only be described as a very small bike, Leah and Billy Humberstone also took part again this year and my son Jacob was once again part of the recovery team and assistant navigator to our designated drivers Frank Byrne and Max.

The weather turned a bit nasty towards the end of the ride but everyone kept up good spirits and had a few refreshments afterwards. Unanimously the decision is that we will do it all again next year.

As yet we have no idea of the final total so far but are hopeful it will be upwards of £8000 which is a great acaheivement for all concerned.

It's here again "Cycle round the Circle Line" 2012, friends family and work colleagues will get out on there bikes on Sunday 23rd of September to Cycle, Run and Walk the designated route round the Circle line, last year we raised over £14,500 and this year we are doing it all over again and we want you to join us and help us raise money for MacMillan Cancer Relief, if you would like to know more about this event then please email me at samuelmcewan@sky.com and I will give you all the details and include you on the distribution list, the only criteria for taking part is that you make a donation to this page or get some friends and family to sponsor you and make the donations to this page, look forward to hearing from you and seeing you on the 23rd of September.
